Ok, it really started off with some idiot bashing DSMs...blah blah...things got heated up...if you guys wanna come give me a hand and let him know Mitsu's make very fast cars and his supra won't stand a chance to an evo.
BTW, he's an idiot, a few DSMers are going to the track to teach him a lesson, we'll see.

An EVO willo have the best chance to take out a supra when racing from a dead stop. Supra will make a higher mph, but will be slow getting of the line, but once its on full boost-look out. It really depends how modified each of the cars are and I assume you are referring to MKIV Supras.

 

well... supra and evo are in different classes... but i think... it matters how much money u put under the hood... u can put in like mad money into a dodge neon... and burn a viper... and etc... so money is the key factor in racing... well... i hate people bashin on cars.... cuz peoples cars are like there spouses.... u dont make fun of peoples spouses....

It all depends on what kind of track yer talkin about too...

I think there are numerous cars that could take down the Supra (mods depending) in the twisties, but there's no reason for a Supra to be hatin on DSM's...almost ANY car can take down another car with the right amount of $$$ put into it.

One thing I absolutely HATE is people that get a very elitist attitude when they get an expensive/fast cars. They act as though they're better than you....that's f'in lame.

The above is one of the MANY reasons I can't wait to get out on the road with my Evo. Those 'Vette (non-z06)/Boxster drivers won't know what hit 'em.....MWAHAHAHAH!!!

the 2jz motor is a good car to work on... hp gains are fast on those engines too... but im sick and tired of people sweating it... i mean it was nice... but i remember when the general public (non-carlovers) didnt know about it...(pre fast and the furious) that car was more amazing... its still the same car... but it gets too much hype now... im scared the same thing will happen to the evo... if i talk about an evo to an average crowd... they wouldnt know what it is... evo? whats an evo... but when its released... its going to be so hyped up... i hope the evo doesnt lose its spark like how the supra did....

 

i agree with everyone...my dad has a lightning and he has modified it a bit and he can beat most cars around...it all depends on how much $$$ and whats under the hood!

Probably bone stock ones yeah. But even a slightly modded supra would do better than 12.9. Believe me i know my friend has one. 94 Twin Turbo.6spd

 

thats not necessarily true... unless u have the 6speed...the auto is pretty slow....

 

The auto supras run faster 1/4 mile times than the 6-speeds because they can get off the line faster, especially modded supras. The 6-speed is only an advantage up to a certain point.
