I have noticed that the throttle response was a little bit better and I noticed that the car was running a little bit cooler. He'll with those results I think it was worth the 8$.

It's literally unhooking two hoses that are next to each other. Attaching them together with a 3/8 to 3/8 barb reattaching clamps and bam. A little coolant will spray. Very small amount tho. Real easy.

The barb is located with all the fuel system stuff at autozone and prolly anywhere else. Just a heads up. Theres a how to video in the how to section on here.

oh, today, was driving her car, noticed the temp gauge was almost to the red, H position. thought it was running hot, stopped, looked at the coolant reservoir..was fine. no boiling or hissing noises, no "overheated" smell anywhere. got back in the car, then it went up, then back to normal, then up, then back to normal, then finally stopped at the normal position. assume maybe the sending unit is bad or going bad. don't know if these are prone to this or is the gauge prone to going bad. need to see where the sending unit is and prolly replace it anyway.

I helped someone with the same problem. He had a scan tool and the temp was fine but the gauge on the dash was hot. Replaced the sensor and it fixed it. Sensor is located on the drive side of the motor, towards the front of the car. The connection is just a black plastic piece that slide onto a small metal tab on the sensor.

Thanx!!! I was going to look for it today. I looked on line at the sensor to have an idea of what I was looking for. saw two different ones. one had the metal tab like you are saying and the other actually had a black plastic end on it for another connector to go into.

Nice, did you go with bigger rotors in the front? I am debating to doing the sport back rear disc brake conversion. But the rotors would be 5mm bigger in OD in the rear.

Yes I had to go with bigger rotors. The calipers were twin piston and wouldn't be able to fit the Lancer stock rotors. I believe the Lancer rotors are 256mm and the ones I used are 276mm.
