Do you have to have a rollbar to install a four point harness?

 

Ah here's the dilema... I posting something about this but it got lost in the site moving. Basically, you can mount 4-point harnesses without a roll cage to attach them to but they have to come off the back of the seat as close to horizontal as possible and no more than 45 degree angle between back of seat and harness strap. I got 4-points to go with the sparcos i bought but now i dont think i'm gonna put the 4-points in b/c the only feasable place to mount them correctly would be to the rear deck somehow and I dont want straps across my back seat.

 

Yea thats a good place if you dont mind the straps goin across your back seat... however I dont want to lose function of my back seat so i'll stick with the 3-points.
