I went to a local custom shop that did custom mandrel bent 2.25" piping and a APEX'i World Sport muffler that I strongly suspect "fell off the back of a truck" or was hijacked by three identical turbo civics (200 for the whole thing). Very deep, not ricey.

i second static's vote for buschur catback. 2.5", deep throaty sound. no loss of low end .. definately a great item to get. i dunno if you should go magnaflow or dynomax muffler however, i have the dynomax and its great but the magnaflow sounds excellent too.

best of all, it doesn't burn your bumper and fits perfectly.

that is, unless you are JUST looking for a muffler .. that I dunno.

Im not sure if you loose performance with the ebay muffler or not - but thats what i have it feels faster. Although having automatic car you dont get to reap the benifits of having mods done to the car

if your not really good at getting perfect shifts, then you might as well get an auto. if you are a good standard driver, then by all means get a 5 speed. you'll kick any auto lancers ***.

NO REMUS CHOICE

GO with the Remus cat back for our lancers... IT SOUNDS SWEET.

you can hear it on http://www.remus-racing.com

it is nice and deep, and they make a $435 catback for the lancer

i think you can find the complete catback for the OZ 2002 at http://www.autoaccessorystore.com

CHECK IT OUT

If you can still find one, you should try and pick up the DC Sports Stainless Cat Back "Twin Canister System". I here that they stopped making these systems because it was not cost effective, but that it is a really sweet exhaust. The dino numbers look really good and DC Sports makes a top notch product. I think they have released the new single canister cat back system for the Lancer as well.

Most double-tip (and double canisters) would look like *** without some body modifications, though. I still like mine. I think that the WS looks good, and that while good, the N1 kinda doesn't meld with the body work as much.
