i found this on ceriousperfomance, i wanted to order this evo 8 spoiler, the description says it fits perfect, but in the picture it looks like where the spoiler is bolted to the trunk, it covers the crack....how would you get your trunk open?

no it doesnt cover the crack, the pic is really bad and distorted, it works just like any other evo 8 spoiler, it bolts to the trunk only, not the car itself

oh for christ sake are you telling me you cant tell the difference between the back of a lancer and a evolution? That pic is of an evolution, which is think is crap because shouldnt they be showing u their product on a lancer instead of just a pic of a evolution? Be carefull with that. Oh btw, thats just an immitation. The wing on the evolution is 100% carbon fiber. The sides are simply painted. The one on that site is plastic with a carbon fiber center section, not even sure its that just a cf cover on it or not. The Evo 8 wing is high quality and built for perfect downforce. Get the real thing.

cerious screwed me on the evo 7 style carbon fiber wing.. it was all ****ed up... the coating over the CF was all bubbled and ****, the filling on the ends was all ****ed up.. that was just the evo 7 style spoiler tho so idk bout the new evo 8 one.
