97 Lancer issue
Hi there
Not so mechanically minded but hoped for some insight into an issue
Wife purchased 97 lancer 1.5l auto.Car sat for about a year prior to purchase
Vehicle was inspected and running smoothly by mechanic
After filling fuel tank first time ,once in a while vehicle seems to flood on cold start,only when cold.Let it sit an hour and usually starts
My limited knowledge would be to change fuel filter but would that affect it in this way
never does it when warm
Havent checked plugs to see if wet when it happens as yet
Any experiences/ advice appreciated to save possibly getting ripped of by garage
