rip off in Ramsey NJ

I recently purchased a 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer OZ at Ramsey Mitsubishi in Ramsey,NJ.
In speaking with the salesman he told me that I could get there advertised 0 down, 0 intrest, and 0 no payments for 1 year.
Upon leaving the dealership, I did not receive any of the contracts for the vehicle because it was late and the financial moron told me he would mail them in the next couple of days.

Fast forward two weeks....................

I get a bill in the mail for a car payment due this month.
I am not supposed to pay anything for one year!!!!!!!!
Upon speaking to the dealer he tells me that there is nothing that can be done because I have already signed the contracts.
Keep in mind that I have still not received any of my contracts that were supposed to be mailed to me 2 days later.
Then Mr. financal moron tells me that he gave me the paperwork.
This is yet another lie. I have witnesses that were there with me to confirm this.

Bottom line do not ever go to this dealership to purchess a car.
They are rip offs and liars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

purchasing a car is a big investment, as a buyer you have your responsibilities too...you can't rely on dealers (never!) to take care of everything. you need to be sure what you are signing and check clear about everything also. buy smart! most dealers treat people like client # in a file folder, you have to be down at the dealership and be in their face. then they will take you seriously and take care of business

It states on the bill if you don't have to pay it. Read it carefully before deciding not to pay...then get your lawyer if need be. I went there and the salesperson knew less about the car than I did...which wasn't a terrible lot at the time. Anyway...they were totally unprofessional and tried to rush the sale so we (I was with my father) smiled politely and walked the fuggout.

Almost all the local Lancers I see are from Ramsey Auto Group. Don't ask me how they managed to sell em. There are also dealerships in Maywood and Jersey City for anyone in the area considering a Lancer in whatever form.

Sorry to hear about your situation. I hope it all works out.

I have also recieved monthly car payments, but being that with the 0-0-0 you don't pay anything for a year I was personally told by the dealer not to pay them when I recieved them an that after 1 year I would finance the car for #.#% an start payments afterwards.

Hope everything works out for you.

All I'm saying is the bills you don't have to pay SAY you don't have to pay them on them. Look around for that line first. If you can't find it have someone else check...if they can't find it then raise a big ole stink.

bro, ive dealt with stuff like this before, get all the information and papers together, read them carefully, if you still think you arte in the right, then go back and act real professional about your problem. State your case and if they still dont fold then tell them they will be hearing from your lawyer....dont under an circumstance get in there face or threaten them!
