AC still not cold after repairs?
AC still not cold after repairs?
I have a 2008 lancer, and pretty much went without AC since it went during the winter...and since it's getting hot (in Texas) I just had to have it repaired. I knew it was going to be a compressor replacement at the very least...but it ended up a lot more than that because i guess for a long while it was over-cycling and it basically shot the system.
Long story short, it was all fixed, and today it was 86 degrees, but even after driving for about an hour straight...the AC didn't get very cold, i'd say it was cool enough to drop the ambient temperature inside the car from 86, to like 82. I don't feel like that's acceptable for the repairs I had paid for...
Any suggestions as to what can be done about this? (Obviously i'll have to bring it back, but what options do I have?)
