Please avoid from making duplicate posts. It's not allowed in the forum rules. And this forum is for instructions only (requests are to be made in the respective tech categories as per the sticky in this forum) Hopefully, a mod will delete this one and replace it with a how-to thread soon. If not soon enough, let me know and I'll post a how-to in general for intakes (I have an SRI, but they should be similar in installation). Or I could see if Richard wants to write up how he installed his Injen CAI.

Oh yeah, and welcome to the boards!

i don't know why it's not in the "how to" forums, but here:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ht=cai+install

only difference is that there's a mount near the thermostat and some other odd mounts that should seem a little obvious.

The kit should have come with instructions with pics. Pretty much, the most difficult part is taking out the stock pieces, and taking the MAS from the airbox without breaking the airbox. After that, it's just bolting things up, literally.

maybe she bought it used. My intake didn't require me to mess with the MAS, so the CAI install would be a little more in depth.

I haven't gotten it yet, just thought people might have some suggestions from experience of installing it. I don't know yet if it will have instructions, I bought it new from NOPI.com

Try searching the site for airbox removal if you have trouble, but the pieces really only fit one way, and everything's just unbolt and remove, and put in place and tighten. It's really easy. If you have too much trouble with the CAI you should quit tuning immediately. (Not really, but I promise it's easy if you don't let the idea of working on the car frighten you)
