Hmmm...the filter is gonna run you another 60 to 80, depending on model.

Wow though...way too many hose clamps. It looks fairly straightforward to install, but you'd best check those clamps every few thousand to make sure they're not coming undone.

As for rice...who gives a ****? If it's under the hood, you can't see it. I guess you could call it stealth rice, but again, if it works better than the stock airbox, it's fine by me.

i bought that. it's a 2" intake SRI, not 3". but i used the piping on it to get my SRI to go where i wanted it to. check my profile for pics. actually, all you need is a 3" mas adaptor and the filter, and i got that for $25 off ebay also.

how is the filter gonna run him 60 to 80 bucks???? no way. just go to autozone with the pipe and find a filter that fits. simple as that and should run no more than 20 bucks. yes there is more clamps than you need, u need one for the Throttle body to pipe, pipe to MAS adapter, and adpater to filter. you might have to bend that piece of metal that supports the whole unit. i had to bend mine in two ways. no biggie though. as for the rice thing, i think you justified himself to the reply to that post. haha.

not to get off topic, but as many of you probably know, (especially if you work in retail), it's sometimes surprising to see just how many companies buy their parts from one major manufacturer and simply stamp their company name on it and throw in a few special parts of their own. obviously this is not true for ALL companies, but quite a few. so who knows what's rice anymore these days...
