im not whining about the drive thats nothing...i just dunno where any autocross events are....us low HP FWD cars could use those water sprayers...but use bleach on the front tires and lite em up and make nice white smoke...it'd scare people cuz they wouldnt see the bleach shoot out.... just an idea

 

Haha! Nice bleach idea. I'm sure you were joking but just for those who don't know, autocrossing is all about go not show. So burnouts, show drifting, e-brake turns, veilside body kits, etc. aren't really appreciated.

But yeah most everyone's gotta drive. My closest events are 30 minutes (not bad at all) furthest are an hour. Beats the hell out of Rally though where you have to tow your car for 12-32 hours one way to a race. I'm really envious of all California guys cause you're so close to the Rim race. Speaking of which, my boy (read: buddy) Chris Rhodes is going to be there in a 2.5RS. Keep an eye out for him. He's doing the whole Pro circuit this year and he's a real cool guy.

The road was hella slanted. It went over 2 small lots and 1 big one at PIR. The pic is of the end of the fastest slalom. I am going down hill and it is sloped to the left.

 

Cool...you live in Phoenix? I've been looking for somewhere to autocross (never done it before) locally but haven't found anything.

there is one next weekend, April 10th. at firebird. i suggest going, there wont be another one until May. its great and everyone there is really cool. they take it serious, but are not dicks or snobby. i want to go, but am committed to a dyno day with a bunch of foci.
