Exclamation **HELP me make my car look CLEAN**

Heres my problem, I bought a thunder gray OZ back in July, when i got it i didnt want the pin stripes but it was the only TG lancer in 5 states in 5 speed w/o and sun roof and I needed the car. Now I got the car and the gay *** pin stripes on the sides of the car, they dont look that bad but i really wanna go for the Clean look, now it just looks like a dumb *** family sedan (well its still pretty hott).

Anyway my problem is they stripes are PAINTED on, not Vinyl!!!! Does anyone know how I can get rid of them, I am gonna have to get my entire care repainted or what. I tried chipping away the stripe at small unnoticable loccation but I cant get it to budge. Please help!!!! am I doomed??

yes it is on top of the clear coat. It doesnt have the pearly shine the the rest of the paint does. also when i rub my finger over it, it definately feels higher then the rest of the paint like i could just pick it off....but i cant.

sorry no digi cam, i will try to borrow one and post some pics

any ideas?

You could sand it down to the primer, match the color and paint it again. Or take it to a pro who's going to the same thing, but better. Hope it works out. Post some pics and we can help out more. Either way you've come to the right spot.
