Im having probs attaching my wing to my trunk, for some reason it doenst lay flat on the trunk, its kind bent up a bit (is that hows its suppose to be)? Anybody else have fittment issues with there evo 7 spoiler. I put it together, but had to do some modifying to make the bolts fit in. I need help fast, somebody out there help me, call me, PLZ!!!

 

QUICK QUESTION

the center panel that held by the 2 side panels, is kind of curved, does that curve part point towards the rear window, or towards the rear bumper. I put it together have the curve side of the panel facing my rear windows, while some pics i believe have it facing the rear bumper (or opposite side of the rear window)

I dont have one so I dont know the problem i have however heard that the ebay cheapo are sometimes twisted and they dont fit right.

 

My evo vii wing is bent slight at the point part on the bottom. thats hoe the evo vii wing is. I just tighten it till it comes down, but it doesn;t go all the way flat own.

as for which way it points.. not sure i will have to look tomorrow

I believe the point bending in on the middle part is closer to the back windshield.

And oyu can see how my wing fit to my trunk.

 

yeah, i got it on... i have it pointing like yours... the more bend is towards the windows (i figured it was better aerodynamics since i didnt have installation instruction). BTW, my spoiler is jspec... hints why it came with metric bolts and not standard. Yeah, the bottom panels are not flat on my trunk either, but its on tight, not goin anywhere (i hope), lol. Ill show pickups of my 'christmas in april thread', hehe...
