Just installed my RMR Front strut tower bar
So i just installed my rmr strut bar, and man what a biotch it was to install. I couldnt get it in with out taking the right strut out, and then putting the left one on, and then feeding the bolts through the holes and strut. I did it with no help so it was even more of a pain. But its on and looks and feels good. Cornering is a little better, i was thinking it was going to be more of a difference, but oh well. Got it for 125 bucks shipped.
I have a question, will a rear strut bar make more of a difference with a front strut? I had a friend with a front and rear, and he said it felt like his car was on rails, mine deffinelty isnt that stiff yet. He also said that with the rear strut bar his car didnt jerk as much between shifts, anybody else notice that?
Anyway thanks for the answers

I have the rmr strut bar too .. it is a "snug" fit to say the least, lol ...
I noticed a big difference in the handling of my car right away. Nothing on the shifting .. except to say that, while cornering, my car doesn't dip as much into the turn, thus allowing me to shift easier when turning.
The rear strut bar should really help it feel nice and tight. keep driving for a while and you should notice a difference. it was night and day for me.

Well, i guess your right when it doesnt dip as much. I notice it is really stiff when coming off my driveway curb. Thats the biggest difference i noticed lol
ON a FWD car, a rear strut bar is actually more beneficial than a front one (but less aesthetic
). Actually, the most important bar is a good rear sway bar to reduce understeer, then the strut bars to help keep it all stiff. If you go as far as I have (springs, dampeners, and bars all over) your car will be so stiff that when you jack the front left tire up, the rear left goes up as well. I can't go into most driveways without lifting a wheel off the ground slightly.

It's bumpier than before, but most people say the car is still a comfortable ride. Thanks to the adjustable dampening, I found a pretty happy medium for daily driving, then I stiffen them up for races.
