2012 mitsuibishi lancer es itb
2012 mitsuibishi lancer es itb
i have a 2012 mitsubishi lancer with a naturally aspirated 2.0L 4b11.
i've scavenged the internet far and wide and can't find anyone who has done the swap.
does anybody know anyone who has done it?
i found a conversion kit for just the manifold. i don't really know what other parts are needed to make this conversion happen.
the goal is to have a slight hp gain and a 8000rpm redline.
right now the redline is 6500.
the conversion kit says that it's for 4age 20v itbs but could it be done with motorcycle carbs?
i have a lot of questions and am unfamiliar with how these lancers work.
please respond with useful info.
thanks
itb manifold conversion kit i found: https://www.cncinnovationsmy.com/product-page/mitsubishi-4b11-evo-x-to-toyota-4age-20v-itb-adapter
it says its for 4b11t's but it should work with a n/a??

If you want a higher redline just do cams/springs/retainers and tune it. You’ll gain way more power than with ITB’s
the manifold you posted will bolt up, yes, but the port shape and size is different on the head between 4b11 and 4b11t. So the turbulence you would induce would be biblical and awful for an NA build.
NA horsepower is expensive. Be prepared if you plan to go that route. Or find a cheap 4b12 to swap in and tune that.
