Hi all,

I have my father in laws old lancer 4G13.
He had some guys fit an AC unit some years ago.

AS this engine did not come with any actuator of course it affects the idle when the AC is turned on, almost stalls.

I really want to get this fixed and somehow fit an actuator idle control to kick in when the AC is turned on.

Is there a DIY way of doing this?
If I understand correctly there is normally a small servo control device that controls the vacuum to the actuator which in turn moves the idle control lever.

Where can I get hold of the vacuum actuator and servo control unit?

Original actuator from Japan costs an arm and a leg!!

Considering buying a cheap chinese complete carb from alibaba - just need the actuator and support/rod/screws etc
Cheaper and get lots of spare parts from it even though the complete carb is probably useless.
