Lightbulb Need more horsepower for ur us lancer

Ive been working on a cheaper more affordable way of gaining some extra horsepower for my lancer and i have com up with a TRUE COOL AIR INDUCTION system which makes a lot of sense to me if anyone is interested please resond and i will post my diagram once i see that some people interested. Im thinking it will cost around 400$ but it will boost your car about 30 horses.
Thanx

$400 for 30 horses? seems a little fishy, but whatever this cold air induction system you have planned i'd like to see

Im in the closing stages of my true cool air induction system, and then it will be installed on my car but going over my design with engineers they say it should increase airflow over 10 times the factory airflow and decrease the temperature of the air dramatically. Once its installed and i have the Dyno results i will post them but it may be a few more weeks so please be patient i would love to beable to install one in all your lancer and evo's.NO BULL**** THIS WILL ADD 27 - 34 HORSEPOWER TO YOUR LANCER.

THANX

Alright you can increase airflow over the stock setup, but that's not hard. You say you can dramatically decrease the intake temperature? By how much and decrease it from what standard? Ambient air temp? Engine bay temp? If I'm reading into this correctly (and it's simply an air intake) odds are it's going to be some sort of ram air design, routing intake flow from an area say, like the front grill in the bumper or a duct leading into an intake port on the hood? I'm assuming to you're keeping the kinks and bends in the system to a minimum to keep the air flow smooth? Pardon the questions but the claims warrant it.

This is not no standard cool air induction system! the air is actually cooled before it is forced into the manifold? get the picture? Sorry i just cant through my diagram up because i dont want someone taking my plans because i dont have a patent yet because it is going to cost over 5,000$ to get one.

Either host the pic elsewhere and put an img link to it or click that "attach image" and it'll upload the image from your hard disk. Just to stress the obvious though (because people do it fairly often) if you try to link to a pic on your hard disk we will not be able to see it.

I had a 72SS nova that I raced on the street, and it had a dry ice cool can to cool the air. Is it something along that line?????

See paul, this is what you get when you delete my posts about being mature, and not throwing around insults...

MMS, this thread has been heavily edited to remove comments like that, so, keep em to yourself. While I doubt that this will put out these numbers, I don't know for sure, and plus, if it helps even a little, it might help in a different application. Need is the mother of innovation.

do I detect censorship?
I thought that one of the purpose of these forums was to share opinions, information and ideas in a constructive manner. Why are some of the postings being deleted or "edited".
