So I was replacing the control arm on the passenger side, but ran into a problem. I got the bolt that's upside down and has a nut off with ease along with the one connected to the steering knuckle. But the bolt that's connected to the frame I'm having trouble with, trying to get it out I ended up stripping the head of the bolt, I tried wielding a nut to the top of it but im not much of a wielder so that didn't work so well. Ive also tried a trans fluid and autone mixed together and let it sit over night, tons of heat till it was glowing and on fire (literally), wd40, and an angle grinder. So far it's enough to were it can move side to side (left and right) but still no luck with getting it off nor getting the bolt out.
so if anyone has any ideas or suggestions that'd be much appreciated. By the way it's a 2008 Lancer gts cvt. Also sorry for the poor photo, it's the best I could get.
iI'd start looking for a new frame just in case. I'm not sure if the welded nut inside is that strong. even if you cut the control arm/bushing you'd still be stuck.
for loosening something super tight, i would add to use a 2 sided ratchet, put some socket or extension on the backside and then prop it up so the whole tool is always straight on the bolt head (assuming you cant use a properly sized impact wrench)

update: since It was getting on my nerves I had my brother who has done plenty of mechanical work in the past and he welded a socket onto it and turned it the other way(turns out I was turning it the wrong way). But thank you for everyone who gave suggestions on how to get it off.
