I got a 2004 Lancer OZ and I really hate my trunk lid!!!
What I want to do is to install an Evo Trunk Lid or an 02/03 Lancer Trunk Lid!
BUT I don't know (and I really couldn't find a threat about it) whether it will fit or not!!!
Can someone help me please!!!!

 

I'm fairly sure they wouldn't fit, as changed the body styling.

 

Im pretty sure it will work, considering I have an EVO 8 CF trunk lid on my lancer and it fits perfectly. If you search more, there are actually some threads on this. There was an EVO guy and a US Lancer guy that met up and swapped trunks lids to test the theory and it worked!

 

But didn't they change the body shape in 2004?

 

03 has a similar body shape. the 04 looks more like a Sentra in the back..the lid is "rounder" and not as "sharp" as the 02/03.
(By sharper I dont mean better, I mean sharper lines as opposed to rounded edges so dont flame)

 

Exactly and that's what I hate on it!!!! In addition, I hate it to have my license plate on my trunk!!

 

True your plate is on the trunk...but you also have the horses under the hood.
I guess it's a give and take.
What you should do is guage the interest of other RA and 04 Lancer owners on this forum and see how many would be willing to drop $400-$450 on a CF trunk with no Licence plate holder. Then contact ViS tell them how many guys are willing to buy as soon as they are produced and see if they'll make them for you.
