No dont have to buy new fliter.. Just get Filter Clean kit just wash in warm water and soap and spray oil(motor oil or something) on it then reused it

It's a K&N filter, with a 2.75" diameter opening for the pipe (this fits because I bought one myself with a 2.75" diameter), it's 5" tall, 4.75" wide at the top, 5.875" wide at the bottom.
