Wash it down with a high concentration of dawn dishwashing detergent. Its good at breaking down wax. Then go over it with a clean buffing pad and you should be good to go.

Cool, thats what I've heard before. I'll try that first this weekend. If it doesn't work, I think I am going to go with the Meguina's Wax kit thing.

How to take wax off ur car.. go Auto body shop or Automotive refinish store get "wax and Grease remove" it will take off all wax... it used to painter off the wax before they put new Paint on car... trust me use that and it will take all wax off and not going ruin the paint job or mess up.. it 100% safe....

Dawn dish soap cuts through everything. It doesn't damage paint and will cut throught the dirt, wax, and dust. you can get a clab bar from a few different places. I get all my stuff from ZanioBros.com and it is the best wax i've used to date. Its a little pricey but when your done you understand why. I got a Tarmac Black evo and the wax makes the paint look deep.

I still have to use the nanowax's out there and see how they compair but so far Zanio is the best.

NuFinish is a glaze, isn't it? Or is it a glaze/wax? In either event my body/paint guy told me not to use it- 3M hand glaze and a high quality wax without silicone is what he recommended.

yeah, NuFinish is actually a glaze, not a wax. You apply it and then when it dries to a haze, you are just supposed to wipe it off with a soft towel. Only, if you apply it too think, it wont wipe off. You have to rub really hard or scrape it off with you fingernails. Hence I started this thread to try to find an easier way to get it off.

Zanio is marketed as a show car polish and wax. The entire kit runs about 70 bucks and you get a clay bar, car wash, "gloss enhancer" which is the base for the wax, "clear coat" wax, "show car" wax, and cleaner.

the wax is pretty cool because you apply it as if you were painting. The "Gloss Enhancer" is like primer and the clear coat and show car are different coats of wax. The cleaner is something to use inbetween waxes to restore the look. About 2 weeks ago i put on 2 coats of the clear coat and 2 coats of the show car and the car looked so good I tried to $%^& the tail pipe.

I will vouch for the three step. This stuff works great. It goes on and off real easy. It leaves a glass like finish on your car.

Meguirs NXT is AWESOME for black, or dark cars, that show swirl easily. It's not as expensive as Zaino and works just as well. I've used both and Zaino is great, but it's pricey and I've only seen it available online; never in a store.
