why are people only runing 7psi of boost???? i mean i know the pistons are crap but it would be beneficial to replace them. and if you did replace them could you run more then 7psi??? i really dont get it....

 

you can run more then 7 on stock stuff i did it for almost a year
after you change out pistons you need rods if youv ever seen a lancer rod in person you would know why its about the width of your finger
after that oyu need some injectors and soem kind of fuel manegment system whether it be a piggy back from rrm or a stand alone like the ems (i got one for sale if anyoen is intrested)
after that you shoul dbe good to run as much boost as your hearts content

 

so, that's it??? after i change out my pistons and rods and get some injectors and a fuel management system, I can run like 20 pounds of boost??!! I don't know.

 

^ it will let you boost a lil more...not sure about 20lbs...i dont think youd wanna get that high anyways...rrm's plan it to get their drag car to 16-18lbs....main reason is traction...is hard to get @ 13lbs with drag tires on...imagine on street race tires!...but after pistons rods injectors and a fms...you could prolly run 13 as a daily...dont really what you mpg would be though
