GFB RESPONS VS SYNAPSE for EVO 8

Hello guys,

Im debating whether to get the GFB Respons or Synapse BOV for my evo..
I've heard good thing about them..

Why am I replacing my bov?
When I bought the evo, It had a Ebay Hks VTO bov.
You can just imagine the horror..

I borrowed a Bosch bov from a friend that came off a boosted bmw z3 that does 9psi. So The thing is when I gun the evo, it pretty much does nothing at 5rpm..
I dont have a vacuum to test whats the max on the bov, but i just think that its leaking pretty bad. So I decided to just replace it, since he will be needing the bov back soon anyways..

Its all stock as of now and I did consider just getting a evo 9 metal bov.
But I am also considering my future mods, So I will be needing something better than the OE 9's...

I did my research on this 2 bov. I Just need opinions from evo owners who already tried those 2...

Thanks

I have the GFB Respons bov and like it a lot. Had it for about two years now.

First on a MAF at 25lbs (320hp). Ran it at full recirc, but liked it better at around 10% vta. - car ran better in traffic, less jerking.

Then I changed my setup and ran it on SD, full vta, at 29lbs (525hp). It has worked great from day one. I've never cleaned it either. Sounds good too, like a whooosh.

I know lots of people that run the Synapse and like it tho. Only heard of issues with getting them hooked up correctly at first.
