Welp I have a blue 2003 Lancer ES and was seriously planning on doing some work on it. One of my main concerns was the lack of flare in the interior and the fact that it was an automatic. I love the all black look of the interior along with the white guages. I also love the fact that just a couple of color accents will set of the oz interior.I was thinking about waiting a while and trading it in for an OZ for the sake of interior, guages, and possibly getting a stick...but then again just knowing that mines already paid off kinda makes me not want to. Is it really worth trading my ES and getting an OZ?

 

well i for one (no offence) hate the styling of the ES. i love the interior of the oz, along with the decent rims, lip kit, seats, guages, floor mats, color matched side mirrors, a teeny bit better suspension, etc. i say get a used stick oz and it shouldnt cost you too much after the trade in. good luck!

 

If I we're you I would just keep the ES, and just find people who are parting out their OZ and just buy the parts you want. In the long run you would save money, buy parts online or at a junkyard cheap, e-mail me if you need help! Cuz if you think about it, once you trade it in you have to go through all the crap with financing, paperwork, wasted time... etc... They both have the same engines, they just look different... ya know. I have a OZ Rally automatic, and I love the thing, just looks different thanks to the gauges & lipkit.

u got a point miragelinx, but he did want stick, so maybe in the long run trading in just for sticks sake would be a good idea
