What they said is that other sites have copies of the kits and that body-kit.com does NOT distribute through these sites etc... those sites are copies, not the real deal... if you want accolade kit go through body-kit.com cause they deal DIRECTLY with the USA not through alternate dealerships

 

ABK should at least accept credit cards or pay pal. going to the bank and wiring the money is too much of a hassle. It is better to accept credit card since everyone has at least one.

 

WHAT A LOAD OF BS!!!! Everyone out there, does this show you what kind of company they are? Dimantha, I will delete this post, once you guys straighting this out on your end, but you have crossed the line yet again.

Everyone, do you know why they posted this garbage? This morning I get an email accusing us of copying their kits and making them here in the United states, and they all flew off the handle and said they would mess up our market by selling direct to the US at 750 dollars, blah blah blah blah, and how could we make their kits. Well, I was wondering where they came up with this story, and they posted that it was becuase of another thread here in which i said we had made a front bumper and side skirts here in California to make up for their late shipments. Well that is wrong on just so many levels.

1. Last year, when these kits were first made, we were promised that we would get exclusive on them, that no one else in the world would have our kits, only we would get them. That means that we would own the design you would think, wouldnt you? NOpe...when they needed extra money, they, as you can see from the website months ago, started selling their "our" kits all over the world, including the US. Who would you say is in the wrong here?

2. Lets say that they never did make this agreement with us that these were our kits exclusively. Lets say I didnt even know accolade. We still havent "copied" any of their bumpers. As you know, their apex kits have been of poor fiberglass quality, and also do not fit the US lancers without removing the front reinforcement bumper. I would not copy such a thing. We spent 1-3 weeks redesigning the "Evo-3" style bumper so that it would fit the US Lancer without removing the bumper, and just overall quality. We used evolutionm's member Brandon's car to do this.

3. The only reason we had to start making OUR bumper here is because accolade is going to be months late yet again on the shipment, and there are angry customers.

Anyways, evolution m members, you be the judge. If SR has done anything in violation of their agreement with accolade, please post here...or if you think accolade is the shady one here, id like your input as well.

Accolade, if you want me to remove this post, i suggest you remove yours and think twice on your new position on this matter...

 

Yamaneko you got it man that would **** anyone off. What it really does is undermine the "value" that you sell to the coustmer by telling him "this is an exclusive kit" then boom he see's it online all over the world. And well if they want to be like that I say you take there basic design make it better and sell it here if we could get kits on time so many people would have them. It took the guy I bought my kit from 6 months to get it. It was through Shark Racing but it wasnt there fault it was Accolades. You should make a new front and back bumper and just push them out.

Well, according to accolade, as of this morning they wont sell us any more kits. This obviously is confusing to us, since the only company that has recieved the short end of the stick here is Shark Racing. Them making up this whole drama makes me think that it has been planned that they were going to screw us over. I dont know what motive they would have for this since they have screwed us for months, yet we still showed patience, and tried to work out all of the problems. Also, other comments that confuse me are:

I dont know. Whatever the case may be, if theres a kit that you guys want made, we can get it done. We will not copy exact kits that are already out there that we dont have the rights to. However, if someone wanted an EVO V style kit, thats possible...no one "owns" the EVO V style, its made for plenty of cars. All we would do is use a mirage EVO V bumper and custom fit it to a lancer, thus making a prototype.

 

i say go for it SR....make whatever you want.
i give you full rights to copy the **** out of any ****-colade product.. and if they have problems with that send them to me..
lets see how much BS can come out of their mouth with my 9 shoved down their throat...
hell if everyone on here donates $5 to me i could just hop on a plane and take care of all of this.....

my 1g saved up for a wide body kit WILL NOT be going to accolade, no way, no how, there is just too much problems with getting anything from them and SR right now. So , i say Start making your own kits SR, i'd feel better ordering and dealing with someone stateside
