there are a whole bunch of car tuning magazines (ie. import tuner, compact car, turbo, etc.) and they always have features on certain cars that are all fixed up. i've been looking around the forum and some of you guys have some tight cars. i have seen atricles on the EVO II, but the 2002 Lancer is here and now.i was wondering if anyone has seen an article done on Lancers or if someone was planning on submitting their car for an article. i don't really know how it works, i was just thinking our car should get more publicity in the car magaizine world.

 

its been in super street (search for the post and you'll find the link) and a memeber on this forum, Boni, is having his car posted up inside of Sport Compact or something like that. damn now i feel bad i dfont know the name of the mag and i dont feel like searching.. but you can!

well lets face it the mirage never got popualar I had one before the lancer and I have this bad habit of being right at guessing what cars are goinr to be popular and just as the mirage no one will look at it as most do (please for give me for what Iam about to say ) a honda I still like my lancer It is 85% in my opinion a rebody of the mirage

 

that would be tight if our football team was decent, but we always are decent at the half and then they get smashed in the third and fourth quarter. WTF? oh well. but ya, maybe i'll see your car around. what color is it and model again?

 

we should write to these mags and ask them why the lancer was never in these mags they are hating on :mitsu's

 

Not the most enlightened comment...maybe when the mags see some serious Lancers then they'll put them in the magazine.

 

Probably when we start to see more lancers at car shows will there be an interest to have them in Magazines.

Almos all mags only care for Hondas , and Mitsus are very strange machines for them , besides we can kick those Hondas ASSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

 

I put my car in shows regularly, throughout WV/OH/MD/KY/PA. It has done alright, the best I've gotten was 3rd best Mitsu in a show in Columbus, OH. I need some real mods, mainly a new system and maybe some nitrous. My question for ancer06 is this: Was reading about Boni possibly getting his car into a mag the only reason you started talking **** about his car? Which then led to me defending Boni and ancer06 starting a mini-saga of debates about Nitrous+Turbo applications, among other things. He feels everyone should NOW be enlightened to the fact that these two are compatible. I'm just wondering why he is worried about Lancers being in a magazine considering he told me he doesn't like to read. Ironic twist there. I guess he just looks at the pictures.

 

nobody listen to ozracingwv. boni's car is fast, props for that. i just thought something on the exterior was needed. if you look at boni's car, and look at the "leave a message" section, you'll see how ozracingwv has been on boni's nuts for the past few weeks. (the guy even sent me an e-mail that could be concidered an essay, he even told me he would break my jaw and break my arm after putting it into an arm bar. at that point i got really scared) i like cars that look clean, if it has some *****, even better. but the lancer is not a fast car for the most part.

Although that may have been said, did ancer06 comment on anything he said that maybe instigated that? Funny how there are no two sides when someone's got something to hide....the only comment I made about Boni was that his car wasn't slow by any means. Then ancer told me I was Boni's boyfriend or something. He was talking bad about Boni's car just because he was jealous. Period.
