Can you buy *JUST* an Evo VII Hood?

I'm wondering, am I able to buy an Evo VII hood somewhere?

Not carbon-fiber, just a regular hood (like as part of a body kit) for my 02 Lancer ES?

I like the hood w/ the scoops, but I'm not really interested in an entire kit or the Carbon Fiber hood look, and thats all that I can find is available.

Any help is appreciated.

I think Vision Imports has just the solution for ya. It's a metal evo style hood.

I know accolade at www.body-kit.com has hoods, but I don't know if you can get it without the rest of the kit and I also heard fitting it is a uber b****.

I dunno, call em up couldn't hurt.

btw: does anyone know wha the price is on that Evo 7 kit?

Thanks for the help. I didnt see it listed on their site though, any idea where it is? I checked under Body Kits, but all I saw for sale was the entire kit.

Its probably right under my nose, sorry if I seem like a dummy.

Not True from what people tell me the EVO VII hood is very easy to install, it is the GT hood that requires minor prep work.

Scroll down on the page that I linked you to. It's almost at the bottom.

Doh!

I see it now, thanks again for the help, thats exactly what I want. Supposedly it's a direct fit on the US Lancers too...anyone know if thats 100% true?

I know sometimes "Direct Fit" should have a little disclaimer that reads "with minor prep work" --- I just wanna be sure so I can plan ahead.

A local guy up here had the EVO VII Kit (the one which required removal of front reinforcement bar) and it required major mods to fit. He had to mod/trim the plastic piece between the windshield and the engine bay, and the bodyshop had to do some other custom work to get it to fit. Oh, and the stock hood latch was useless so he had to use hood pins only. I was not impressed.
