O2 sensor help!!

I have been having some probs with getting my O2 sensor off of the second cat so I can put in my test pipe. I bought the 1/2 drive socket and O2 sensor removal thingamabob, and it strips it. Also, I've tried stuff like rust away and freeze away junk to help loosen it but no go. So can anyone give me some pointers on how to go about unscrewing it?

BTW: Local shops won't put it in( Even though I already figured that) so I am stuck.

just use an open ended wrench and stick a pipe or something on it. itll give you enough leverage to get it loose.

I had the same issue as you all you need is a locking wrench and a pipe and your good to go.

Thumbs up

Squirt some penetrating oil onto the thread of the O2 sensor and let soak for 20 minutes, then use a 7/8" O2 sensor socket on a 1/2" rachet and cheater bar to untorque the O2 sensor, if it still doesn't move heat up your engine to operating temperature or after a 20km drive and retry. It was a ***** to get off my '97 Civic when I had to change the O2 sensor too, remember to apply anti-seize compound onto the thread of the O2 sensor when reinstalling.
