well, its actually pretty cool. You'll definatly feel a difference in the higher gears. I drive an auto, so this doesnt really apply to manual guys, but if i floor it I can redline the rpms. Its worth the money

Asking someone to quantify the gains from changing your fuel curves is like asking them to give you a number answer for X + Y. There are unknowns that cannot make any sort of reliable estimate possible. Your car's modifications and how strong it is/was stock are just the beginning.

A little piece of advice for those of you trying to figure out a mathematical formula for your HP vs cost charts...you won't get accurate numbers until you've installed a part/mod and dynoed. Trust me, it will save you a good deal of grief if you stop trying to attach a number to each mod before you buy it.

its basically, the more mods you have the more it does for your car, its probably the most bang for you buck because of that one feature...

terrible1, that's basically what it does, adjusts the fuel curve for a better air'fuel ratio. Looking at my dyno https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/at...chmentid=28146 I got an excellent air/fuel ratio with the RRM reflash. Other than gains, I do notice the power really kicks in at a lower RPM and smoother. I used to feel a kick in power around 3500, not I feel it more around 2500, which is very important in racing.

handmemyarms, if someone were to actually calculate the exact gains (I would but I can't find a baseline lancer dyno) it would be something like 40% @ 2500, 39% @ 2600, 38% @ 2700, and so fourth with a graph looking like 2 dyno sheets spliced together.

it redlines in my auto lancer. i love it, but the header pretty redlined it already, so i would say the PB makes it get to redline much faster than without. you will feel the difference.

It won't change the raliability. If you drive it extra hard because of it, say reach redline multiple times, that might wear the engine out a little faster, but you can do that with or without the piggyback. As far as daily driving, it won't make a difference except for maybe better gas mileage.

I took mine off and all is ok. Just back to slower and bad air/fuel ratio haha.

by putting it on, you don't risk the dangers of blowing your engine or ne thing, nor does it wear ur engine out ne faster. The advantages are a better af ratio and sometimes better gas mileage. By taking it off, its just as easy as putting it on. But once you take it off, car doesn't feel the same as it used to, i miss my piggyback already, n its sitting on my desk in my room

the piggybacks work for both autos and manuals, it just depends on how you wire it into your ecu. and if you don't believe me call RRM. I've called the twice now, cuz people dont' believe me.
