but ur not paying 30K + 400 a month.... u'll be putting some down, and then making monthly payments..... although that still is not a better price... they way it was said earlier makes it seem like it was 30K up front plus and extra 400 a month.

You can dump money into an oz or RA and you can make it quick off the line but if you really want ALL the features the EVO has like HID lights recaro seats the power of the engine AWD etc your ganna spend way more tuning your car than the cost of the EVO and when its all said and done you will still be driving a F*cking oz or RA and be getting pennies on the dollar for your mods when you sell your car. Evo's hold their value much better and will always be worth more. Just because a car is quick off the line doesn't make it a good car.
What people like you fail to see is The Evo has a lot more advantages than just quick off the line over the RA and OZ. The suspension brakes and overall stiffness of the car would take you thousands and thousands of dollars to try to match

Bottom line an OZ or RA will never be an Evo.

I'm not telling anyone what to buy or not buy but if you really want a race style car then get a race style car.
If you just like playing with toys on your cars get a civic its cheaper and they will appriciate all your little ricer wanna-be mods

 

oh it can, evolution means change. the regular lancer/RA can change alot as long as their's money to take care of it. look at the rally car mitsubishi is using, it's based on the 02-03 lancer body, but has alot of stuff packed inside of it. its all about the money.

You're good in talking trash about non turbo cars because your DOHC engine has a turbo. How about take off your turbo then race with ralliart or s2000 so it would be a non-turbo Evo vs. non-turbo s2000. Let's see if you could win. Oh more thing, Ferrari forum says EVO or Sti is not a man's car but a children's car.

Back on topic, your car looks really good man. Only thing I say is lose the hood pins. Other than that, looks good. Can't wait to get mine back from the shop, same kit only with the Apex sides.

 

the hood pins are the only thing holding my hood closed. The factory latch couldn't be used.
