Question taking off our hand brakes

does n e one know how to take off our hand brakes???

Im trying to install a new one (a sparco one) and i dunno how to get ours off...

once youve got the center console out, you should just be able to pull it off.

To take off the handle just twist and pull. It's glued on, so it takes a lot of effort the first time. After that it gets easier. If you can't do it with your hands (sissy boy) then use a towel and a vice grip. To take off the whole assembly however, you must remove the center console (which is simple).

If I remember correctly (I haven't had mine apart in a while) the hand brake assy is just a wire with a button all wrapped in a piece of sheet metal that's attached to a hinge. It can probably be done, but I doubt it's worth the trouble.
