Hey guys I need you opinions on something. My Lancer was having a problem in the instumentation cluster where one of the lights blew out 3 times. So I finally took the car to a local dealer (not the original) and they said they would replace the entire panel for me and it was to take no more than 1 week. Well after 14 days I told them I needed a car to take some kids to a church function, they gave me a rental car and neglected to tell me I had to pay the taxes. The rental guy told me. Well I was hard pressed after 13 days with no car so I had no choice but to get the rental. Anyway I kept the rental for 12 more days and got my car back on the 13 (which is 26 days total that the dealer had my car for those counting) I am leasing the car so i feel I shouldn't have to make a 1 month payment for something I didn't have for a month and mind you I paid out of pocket for the rental. Of course they are giving me a hard time about it. What do you guys think should I not pay for the month or have them re-imburse me for the rental or both. help me out guys

I'm pretty sure you should be able to get reimbursed (legally speaking) though it may take some steadfast arguing. Good luck.

Well first off, u said u took it to them and they said they would fix it and give it back in a week! Right? well is that on paper? bc if it aint then ur screwed and u will have to pay for tha month, but if i was u, i would talk it out with tha dealer u took it to!
