Stupid Mitsubishi and Fuel Injector Cleaner...
No, im not gettng a CEL. Today I used seafoam in my crank case and gas tank to see if it help, i notice my car is a bit smoother, nothing drammatic, but it just easied up the RPM and speedo smoother aswell. I have really gunned her so I dont know, but so far 50miles and the gas pin has moved, its actually went up, strange. Still ill let yall know. Honestly, if this keeps getting really really bad, im gonna sell my lancer, I dont want too, but my gas is just THAT BAD. Also i keep her 2.5 rpm and only a couple times hit 3.. and still no luck. Every what your gas drown infront of you? Yea, I do and its very dissapointing.
Another thing, when i would travel from so cal to santa barbara to see my girl, its 180 miles and it would take me half a tank to get there and only mod at the time was axelback exhaust. Now im getting 200 to the tank, and my only other engine mod is a SRI.

What brand gas, and what octane? Make sure you're using the "regular" (86,87,88) and don't buy cheap gas!! Shell, 76, Chevron are the 3 I'll buy
If you get too high of an octane rating, your engine can't fully combust the fuel. This leads to major buildups. A friend of mine ran 91 oct in her Daewoo believeing that it was the best thing she could do (because it's the most expensive) 8 months later she had to have her injectors replaced because they'd become too fouled with deposits to clean (it was cheaper to just replace them, I guess)..... the mechanic blamed the high octane gas and told her to go down to 87....
and cheap gasses are, well, just cheap and you get what you pay for.

^^^ 200 miles if im lucky, but my luck has been ****ty lately. Also, about resetting my ECU ive done it numerous times, about 3x this week alone and nothing changes. I still see bad gas and watching it drop.
Do you have an auto tranny? Also, do you have bigger wheels? Mileage can be thrown off.
Simple silly Examples:
Your stocker runs 800 rpm = 1 mile
You have smaller tires running 1000 rpm = 1 mile
You have bigger tores running 600 rpm = 1 mile

^^^ Didnt you see my earlier post? A lancer shouldnt get 19-20miles per gallon. Thats truck/rx8/and diesel engine type gas. I should be gettin 25+ and im not, not even close. Im saying, i do not know why im gettin bad gas milege. I mean, a stock evo, shouldnt be gettin more miles than I do. My friend in his evo is getting about 22-23 and im getting 19 and he's stock and I have an axelback and SRI, tell me something aint right. He has a lead foot (haha.. its an evo) I dont and im still getting worse gas milege.
Cant put my stock exhaust on, because I dont have it anymore. When my friend took my mas off the airbox, he cracked it a bit, its not bad... but from the looks of it, its not gonna be easy putting it back on.
