Talking My car made the TÜV!!!!

Just to let everyone that cares know. MY CAR HAS PASSED THE TÜV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You can't understand how happy I am, now it's only car insurance and getting my baby registered next spring.... but before that, it's tuning time!!! Bank account won't like it....
For all the Evo owners in Germany, where did you get insurance from and how much do you pay? Vollkasko, of course...

Yep, looks like GEMS for me. I'm still looking for a professional car mapper somewhere around where I live who could help me get started and/or when something isn't going that well. Next week there's the tuning show in Essen, which is one of the largest in the world and I think I should find someone down there who could help me if needed.

Almost forgot, also looks like some Superleggeras too. Got their price 540DM for 8x18 per wheel which is about 190 pounds, so not too bad. Then some Yoko A038r or AVS. the problem is you need a racing license to buy the A038r, but I know a few people with racing teams so that's not the problem... hell, I might do a license myself anyway

Soundz like you are getting carried away with the "tuning menu" GREAT!!!!

Dinho, you should get yo *** down to MC or south of France in FEb when I'll be visiting the locos. Hopefully I can keep that promise, i.e. no work-shiat. Otherwise, like I wrote in the mail, come down to 24h Nürburgring event, in fact anyone that's interested should come down, I've been to two events so far and it really good, none of the pretentiousness from other motorsports events.

Went to get my car, everything seemed o.k., the garage said they'll quickly change the oil in the gearbox and centre diff. I drove off and after about 2km very bad rattling and grinding sound from either the gearbox or centre diff... not happy, hopefully they just forgot to put the oil into the centre diff, as I got the car back safely and the rattling only started when I was driving 30mph+ but VERY loud with the whole car vibrating....

Dunno if anyone here reads Autocar, but one of their test cars, an Exige, had to get a new engine 'cos some incompetent idiot forgot to put oil in at the first service!! What is the world coming to?
