well the point of the rear bars it to induce oversteer at the limit instead of understeer... if you add a thicker front(if the ra is thicker) you are going cancal it out...

Personally, I can't say I've ever felt a need to increase the understeer of the car.

But you try, more power to you! Theoretically, there shouldn't be much difference.

Where would you get it? Dealer, junkyard, etc? There's no aftermarket upgrade, so I'd assume they're hard to come by...

I could be wrong but oversteer on a Front wheel drive car? Never heard of it. Explain it alittle more detailed.

basically when your rear tires slide before your front... and you dont want your front tires to slide on a FWD b/c then you cant turn for ****(ive experienced this before i built up my suspension at an autox event and it is not fun) and it is possible to induce oversteer in a FWD car ask anyone who autoxs with a built suspension on there lancer...

What suspension you running with? Im looking into a whole Tein kit right now. All i have is Eibach Spring. Not too bad like the handle but could need more.

You have a front sway bar?

That would suprise me. Oversteer and understeer do not "cancel each other out" but a front sway bar would certainly change the feel of a turn for your front suspension. ...Are you sure you mean a front sway bar and not a strut tower bar? I dunno much about the '04's, but I really can't see a reason for it.

i didnt mean they would cancel each other out, but if you are looking for oversteer... then upgrading the front sway would be moving in the opposite direction, it would start to move back toward understeer. Thats why a lot of RWD cars upgrade the front sway to make steering more neutral. and even the 03s have a front sway bar.
