Indiglo gauges!!!
Indiglo gauges!!!
OK...I have the instructions on installing the indiglo gauges for the ES. I was able to get the cluster out but not unplugged. I know this sounds like a silly question but how do you unplug it? I could not get the gauge cluster out from the wires. What I'm I doing wrong? Can anyone help?
It says to splice positive wire into positive wire of the parking lights. Which wire is the parking lights?
Does it also just slide over the original gauges? No need to remove needles right?

If anyone replaced there gauges I'm sure they know what I mean. When the cluster is out it's hooked up to 2 sets of wire harnesses that need to be unplugged. I can't unplug it. Kaotik said "I had to push down on two little clips then pull it out." I need to know how to: 1. unplug wire harness? 2. which wire is the parking lights? 3. Does the gauges just slide over original and 4. if I need to remove the needles? Thanks

#1 those instructions that came with it..SUCK! lets iron that out..
to answer your questions....
#4 DONT REMOVE the needles!!.
#3 YES! SLIDE them over your stock guage.. theese are complete overlays!
#2 I didnt know which lights were the parking lights at the time.. so i Spliced them up to the dimmer . I forgot which color wire to connect with what.. but just do a lil trial and error.).. the lil dimmer switch thats below the steering wheel to the left.
#1 no need to unplug ur wire harness.. Unplug ur battery!!! when you are doing this! you dont wanna blow a fuse (even though they are super cheep to repleace.. but lets just avoid that situation.!)
this looks so bad *** at night!
