Header alone? Or with I/H/E on 15 inch rims at flywheel

I know a friend of mine had HP 4-2-1 header, greddy intake, and A'pexi N1 muffler on his 1.8L. He dynoed +11 HP WHP on 18 inch rims.

They already came public with this info earlier this month and all the info is supposedly gonna be pimped at SEMA. You're a second messenger (like M-RNA if you know your cell biology). I'm just waiting for a sheet with two different colored lines.

Kamikaze Header

The hp gain is without a cat, the kamikaze header replaces the cat. I have said a few times before, i think you guys are confused on the facts. The 27.5 increase is not like a huge increase in hp, the removal of the cat alone gives you 10 to 12 hp increase alone, then add a header with 1.75 inch primaries, flowing down to a 2.5 inch collector, thats alot of volume being pushed out. Read the post, Kamikaze and myself have sold hundreds of these headers, they work, everyone is very pleased with the hp gain. The cars being tested are people lancers like yours, most have a intake I assume just the basic mods your car has, but the test is for the header, nothing is being switched around, the header is being ran and then the stcok exhaust is being ran, there is no padding in the test.Kamikaze has been around for many years, these people are trying to help by giving you a affordable header that work. It seems to me if they charges 600.00 and passed around some bogus dyno sheets everyone would be happy. Dynos can be fixed to say whatever you want them to say, why doesnt a member have there car dynoed and post the results.

Kamikaze Header

I have informed Kamikaze about the rattleing in reverse, Kamikaze put out a group invite for a free header install/with purchase of header. There were a few people came and Kamikaze pulled headers off the shelf out of the box and installed them on everyones car, not one problem. Kamikaze has rechecked tooling but have not found any problems in the cars they examined or installed, the only answer is its the installer not installing correctly, I dont think I have heard from anyone who has had these professionally installed saying there was a problem. These headers are not hard to install, but you almost need to have a lift and the correct tools.

Kamikaze I know is a good company we just want to make sure your product is up to part in our particular application I will have a professional shop do my install and if my **** rattles I will be poiting fingers at 1. the installer 2. Kamikaze and believe me I will make sure its done right . I just sincerely hope your header is as good as you say it is so we can have a nice bolt on power wich would theoreticly bring our hp numbers to about 150 whp. but who knows what is kamikaze's return policy if it all goes to hell ?

The reason it rattles is that the downpipe lies too close to the parts above it. I just went down to my local muffler shop and had them bend it a little for me....no more vibrating....easy fix. Biggest problem was the bolt holes, but it sounds like the new batch has fixed that issue.

150whp? what other mods do you have? stock OZ has 109whp. +27.5 (supposed) = 136.5whp. where's your other 13.5whp coming from? whp!=bhp (for non-computer programmers, != means does not equal) intake and exhaust really shouldn't add to 13.5whp...intake maybe 3-5hp and exhaust maybe 5hp....i guess we're getting close to 150whp but that's dependant on a lot of (imo) bull****. hp claims from companies are always > actual hp gains. i think what kamikaze did was take the dyno sheets, look at different rpm and add up the hp differences to come up with 27.5 (+3 at 2k, +5 at 3.5k, etc.)

He did say WHP. But, 150 crank hp... that'd be alright by me.
