Replacing AEM Filter

I have a AEM Cold Air Intake which as recieved a nice slash in the plastic piece of the filter. I was wondering what fitler I need to use to replace it (I know they go for about 60 bucks), but I don't know what diamter or type it is suppose to be to replace the Lancer's Filter...thanks guys.

I'm kind of tired of using the ducktape to hold the filter on there...

i'm not 100% sure since i dont have an aem intake on my car but, most aem filters are 3inch in diameter. if you want to save a couple of bucks, you can get a 3inch k&n filter for around $40 or so. k&n makes filters for aem, injen, and dc sports intakes. so you could choose either one.

well if you want take the filter off and measure it. measure it across the opening. it should be a 3inch filter. as far as part sites..... pretty much any website has aem and k&n. i guess just find a site that has the best price.

Start by looking here: http://www.knfilters.com/universal/universal.htm

Pick the right filter shape in the table, then find the filter in the chart that atches the measurements on yours... this will give you the correct K&N part number. Any place that carries those filters should be able to get them if you give themthe pat number you need.
