my RMR SRI is pretty loud - however, the SRI was my first mod, so it sounded super loud till i put my headers/downpipe/testpipe/catback on!
I love the RMR SRI, all it is basically is the heatshield and a HUGE K&N cone-filter!

yea the k&n is pretty loud sometimes but it sonds awesome if you just driving normal you probably won't notice a thing but under heavy acceleration you'll hear it. it actually makes the engine sound a lot healthier. it kinda makes a deep growl sound much better than the whiy high pitched sound of stock. Sorry evolucion idn't mean to get snappy there, but the cars are totally different.
how much difference is there between the typhoon SRI and just a stock drop in K&N filter? I've got a drop in but have been wondering about how much difference an SRI would do me. Is there anything I can do to the stock intake as far as removing the scoop (it's been done before, not on a lancer as far as I know) or something little i haven't noticed?
