haha, same here bro. I just gotta find a body shop around here and get some quotes... The one shop around here charges $80/panel to paint a car which isn't too bad.. I suppose the spoiler will count as a panel and then there's just the labor part which i'm totally leaving up to them

I'll keep in touch and we'll se how things work out!

i mounted a oz spoiler on my evo8 and ran the wire through the right hand side of the spoiler... plug is a little hard to get in and i dunno if it'll want to come out but it's clean and it works.

How exactly would you go about filling up the holes from the center pillar and paint to match the trunk lid? Would you have to completely repaint the whole trunk lid? I'm very interested in taking out my center post now.

oh man.. i'm loving the input from everybody... i'm still going forward with this idea as soon as classes are out till next semester (next week's finals! ) First step, bondo up those center holes... then sand down the rough edges myself and have it painted... THEN the install!

ok i just came on to get the measurements.. i'm heading down to the body shop THIS MORNING to have them look at it and get the paint codes for my car (which i'll probably get from this forum )

they quoted me at $150 for the painting AND the install, it's a company my family has given lots of business so i know I won't get jacked over. I'l tell them to run the wiring down the right side and let them figure out the rest. i'm going to have them bondo and sand the edges for me. I'll keep everybody posted!
