removing rear cd deck?

removing rear cd deck?

wondering if anyone could tell me how to remove the back speaker deck.. like the area of surface were the speakers are mounted in the back i wanna do it in suede...

I believe that once you remove the rear pillars and speakers (and brake light if on rear deck), it is only held in by clips so it should pop out pretty easy.

i was lookin at those last night cuz i had my back seat out. i think if you take off the weatherstriping, it probably just has clips holding it in.

The rear speaker deck can be removed by unscrewing the 4 screws that hold it. They are accessible from the trunk, two at each speaker side. After that just pull the deck up from the cabin.
