anybody know how to get the part off of the door pannel

anybody know how to get the part off of the door pannel

that has the material on it.....i wanted to take that part off and customize it.... and if you know about how long it would take to get off that would be appreciated

search in the how to section. That's where i found how to do it when i had to install my mirror. But mainly it's just take off four screws and pop out the pannel.

i got that far.....i just need to know how to take the arm rest thing completely off.....i wanna slap some new material on it.

don't know what part you're talking about but if you mean the part with the window switchs then just take off the whole door pannel and look behind it. Hopefully you can figure it out from there

the door panel is all one piece. i advise against cutting out the plastic part that is covered in fabric. pain in the *** to get the whole thing back together. take it to a pro if you really want it done.

yeah, my local body shop said that lancer and galant doors are the hardest pannels to do....they said they think that my lancer would be harder to do than their viper or theyre new benz so i figured out if i could get it apart and just have them wrap it for me cause it would cost less with labor and all. i actually just called them and they said it would be easier to just do it on the pannel without taking it off and tuck the material. thanks everyone though but if someone does know i still want to know just so i dont get ripped off on labor
