hi i really need to get these side skirts on my car does anyone know how to put them on?please post

 

Some double-sided 3M adhesive stuff and some of those plastic clips for the side-skirts to attach to the side of the vehicle. Not sure if the ES actually has those holes already drilled for the skirts though.

 

the es doesn't have the holes their but i want to know how can u line up the holes on the side skirts to the side of the car?

 

For the holes.. When I put my body kit on my old talon (eclipse body kit), it didn't have the holes either. All you need to do is test fit the side skirts first. Put them up on the vehicle in the place you want them. Have someone help. 1 or 2 people should be enough help. Mark with a sharpie in your wheel well area where the holes need to go. Get the 3M tape, and either the plastic fasteners or some kind of screw/bolt that will hold the side skirt on. Those little plastic body panel clips should work fine. Drill your holes a little smaller than the roundness of the insert side of the clips. Make sure all surfaces are prefectly clean (both the side skirt and car) and put the 3M double sided tape on the car. Top and bottom side if needed, cause I'm not sure if there is any place underneath it could stick too on the lancer. Then once you have it perfectly fit onto the car, put the little pop screw clips in place. I painted mine with touchup paint so they blend in better instead of being just black. Press all the areas down with 3M double sided tape really good to ensure it doesn't come off. That should do it.
