Is everyone on here serious? you guys cant tell me that nobody has had a slight ponder on the statement. carfax? one must be rediculous to even say something like that, for the amount of people on the forum voiding warranties, racing, and etc. you have to be toatly moronic to start with the "hey hey hey, over here, look what he said" now

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
And by racing - we mean on the track. Street racing is banned for talking about here. 1+ to dat - we are voiding our warranties in the search for more horsepower. Thats totally different than fraud. You are trying to have a car read less miles than are actually on it. I.E. Odo reads 43,000 miles, because some **** like you messed with it, but the car really has 96,000 miles. You are an idiot.

Ban him, and close this tread please.

ban him, close thread. and dont come back. tha is illegal. +1 mods voiding warranty are pending, you only void it if it destroys something directly and dealer brings it up. tampering with an odo is complete fraud. +1 everyone after you, as owners, will be f*cked. not even car stealing, vin shaving, criminals mess with the odo. dont be a retard.

people talk about street racing all the time here. not really "fast and furiou"-type racing (cause that never really happens, pshh, racing vin diesel, ha!). but yes, f---cking with your odo is screwing someone else over, cause theres no reason you would need to lower the numbers unless your selling it. its not going to actually take miles off your engine.

Not that I wouldn't mind knocking 8000 miles off my odometer. The only drawback to doing an ES to Ralliart swap. But I'm told there are legal ways to do it.

drucea, but, for example, getting a new motor for the car. how would changing the odometer become effective, when i say that i mean, i recently did a motor swap on my 93 celica, which had 90,000 miles on it, for a new motor, old one blew, how would i justify the odometer resetting, and such?
