15) now, u can either put ur headlights back in the oven for 5 minutes for the silicone to melt and then use a big clamp to clamp the lense back on; or u can remove the old silicone and apply new ones.

did you just put them back in oven to melt sealent again? if you do this you would need high heat resistent paint? or did you scrape sealent off and apply new? if new what did you use to get it off and what did you use to re-seal?

read step 15! haha, jk. what i did was i left the original glue on it, but then i added more to whereever i thought didnt have enough. and then stuck em in the oven again. paint didnt matter, i used the $5 ones from home depot, it says apply to any surface

any spray paint will work, right? and it will take probly less than 1 can of primer, right?

i was looking at your interior from the link on your myspace.
is yours an auto or standard?
ok, i read closely at your mods list and found out it is an auto.
how do you change shift knobs and e brakes for autos? never knew you could put shiftknobs (although they technically arent "shift" knobs) like those on autos

Uh, holy sht dude, that big long amber thing on the side needs to come off before you paint. That's where the side running light shines out. It just pops out from the back of the chrome part. And it's a generally good idea to sand down that chrome on the light before you paint so there is no chance of flaking. Paint tends to flake on pre-coated surfaces and especially on that chrome (found out first hand). And I def suggest resealing the headlight. It takes like 10 more minutes and you don't have a terrarium for a headlight afterwards.

haha the long amber piece had been purposely painted over!
and yea i did sand the chrome before primering, did i forget to mention it in the instruction? mah bad.... haha~ and yea 1 can of primer is more than enough to do 4 coats on each headlight. and the headlights were sealed really well, its been half a year and theres no moisture in them at all.

thanks for the how to. i would have never attempted before. but i did something a lil different. instead of the orange turning lense, i took it out and put the textured plastic cover for flourescent lights and jb welded them to the housing. then i couldnt find orange bulbs for that so i bought new white ones and went to a craft store and bought transparent yellow glass paint and painted them. im goin put ti back togetehr right now so ill post after pics also.
