Ebay Ground Wire Kit

noob question.

how do you hook up a ground wire kit? before you all flame me. i did search. i found one in the evo thread, but just reading it hurt my head. i was so lost. maybe someone has gotten this kit and can give me the walk through? thanx

Ive got one sitting in my garage that im putting in soon. Basic premiss is you hook up the block of it to the neg terminal on the battery, then the rest of the wires come off of it and go to various points on the engine . . . Intake, Transmission, Chasis, and so on. Ill take pics when i do mine. Who else on here has a groudning kit and which components did you guys ground to ?

i have a grounding kit and il see if i can find it if not i write it up
it grounds everything...
neg terminal, coils, cam sensor, Transmission, Chasis.
its like one big neg wire running across ur engine

no they arent illegal I simply want to get a new alternator under my warrenty and thats the sort of thing they could possibly try to use as a warrenty void. Basically if they can say this is what caused your issue they can tell you they wont cover it under the warrenty. I have a couple things to install none of which is going on untill i pass state inspection and get the most i can out of what remains of my warrenty.

yup . . . the mounting block that goes on the neg terminal is a bit different (i might have a fitment issue) but thats more or less it.

thats kinda like the one i have as well. like walkingchaos said the mounting block is a bit different.

thats the exact same one i have . . . only thing im gonna have to work out is how to re-attach the neg cable to the battery once the block is installed on the neg terminal.
