HID Installation HELP

i have a RACE HID System(blue box), and when i connect it, it doesn't work, when i hit the high beams, it just blows a fuse......does anyone know if i need the polarity adjuster with this kit? i have 04 lancer oz

Don't use the high beam wire. You need to get yourself the wiring diagram for the car and see which are the low beam wires. High beam is basically not used in this setup.

Trying messing around with it, it took me awhile to get it right. When I hit the high beams on my car, my lights just turn off completely.

Same here. Its probably the polarity being reversed. When I first put mine in, they didnt light up at all, and it was ebcause of the pos/neg pins being reversed. Also, I installed a 20a mini fuse in the fuse box instead of the 10a for the headlights. (this was recommended on my kit)
