HUGE PROBLEM w/ GROUND WIRE KIT!
Well yeah and no, I had the Torinos, and figured I really wanted that money so I said F-it and took 'em back.
Yes I got the generics and saved 600 dollars. Honestly tho, I really like 'em!
These are also made o' Memory Foam, they really dont feel that much different. Their comfy and hold ya in nicely, but they are heavier.
Thats a Bypass Valve.

I was going to do a grounding kit this upcoming weekend and was just reading up on some stuff. Thanks for solving CityKnights probs. I think he was just trying to make the most out it and ground as much as possible, right? Question though, do these grounding kits help with those static shocks that everyone seems to keep getting in their lancer?
I have a question. I am looking at a ground wire kit and on the directions it says to run one of the grounds to the headlights. Does anyone that has a grounding kit have it hooked up that way?

About the electrostatic shock... We wish!

Believe it our not... this static shock is not cause by the electrical system. As you drive you car the air flows over and around it (DUH) and dependind on how dirty your car outside is the air causes friction. This is what causes the spark. The entire car acts as a capacitor untill it is discarged. Wierd, I know, but there is really not alot of harm.
Source: Super Street, Had a product that grounds the outside and stores the charge in a capacitor-like canister giving you extra HP (Better ground, better spark principle)
Hope this sheads some light...

when i put my grounding it on i had no idea if my lights were brighter, but my friend that i sometimes drive to places with looked in his rearview mirror and thought my highs were on, so i guess it did work
Was digging through the cobwebs and found this from waaayyy back. THE BIG 3!!
1) Wire from neg battery terminal to chassis
2) Wire from Engine block to chassis
3) Wire with fuse from Positive battery terminal to alternator
According to number 3 the alternator is positive. So logically connecting it to a negative would obviously cause a short. I think thats the problem...
