There is a simple way to make the Laptop Mount removable...

There is an adaptor for the appropriate piping (see the How-To in URL below)

that enables a disconnection and reconnection with a simple twist of the knob.
You can get it at any hardware store that sells pipe.
It looks like so:


Apply it between two pipes, connecting them in your setup.
The center knob screws to tighten, and unscrews to loosen... BOOM done.
Its on, its off, simple.




Now you can build the Laptop Station and not have to worry about it getting in the way of anything or anyone.

Its called a pipe coupling. 3/4" by the looks of it.
