see those funny little plastic nubs? funny thing about them... they have screws behind them... alls you gotta do is pop em off with a little screw driver or a little knife or a REALLY big hammer...

after that its elbow grease..

1) one screw behind the door handle
2) one in the little pocket next to the window controls
3) like andrew said, "the funny little plastic nubs" - should be two on the door
4) apply some elbow grease and pull the panel away from the door from the bottom. there's a handful of little clips that just come out when you pull the door panel.

Careful with the clips and nubs though its easy to break em with too much force

I can see this has been here awhile but too add to what these guys already said is that you can easily pull the clips off with two screwdrivers, one on each side of the clip and apply gently pressure and they will pop right off. Just do that all around the lower portion of the panel I think there are around 5 clips, it takes me about 10 seconds and I have had the panels on and off alot lately.
